Rental Returns

Option 1: IN STORE

Return your rentals to the Trinidad Campus Bookstore during business hours. 
Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm 

Option 2: DROPBOX

Return your rentals to a 24/7 dropbox. This is a contact-free way for local students, or students passing through, to return their books to a secure location. Make sure your name is clearly visible on the back of each book. If it is not, please write it on the inside of the front cover.

  • Alamosa Campus Dropbox is located in front of the Atrium doors.
  • Trinidad Campus Dropbox is located in front of the Sullivan Student Center.


Option 3: SHIP

Return your rentals via shipping.

  • On the back of all of our rental books, there is a sticker with the due date.
  • If you are unsure of the rentals you have out, send an email to with your student ID number and full name, and we will email you back with the books you rented.
  • Please make sure that all items are packaged securely to prevent any damage during the shipping process. Fill any empty spaces with a clean filler.
    •  The TSJC Bookstore is not obligated to issue a refund for return shipments that are lost or damaged*.
  • Make sure to include as much information as possible so that we know who's return it is. Below is the information we can use to process your return:
    • Student ID Number (required)
    • Name (required)
    • Order number
    • Address
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
    • TSJC Bookstore encourages students to send their rented textbooks using a trackable shipping method, such as USPS Media Mail, FedEx Ground, or UPS Ground.  Visit your preferred carrier's website to create a label or go by your local branch and send your books back.
